Afaik it’s his first time teaching this course, but I had him for ITMGT 20 and 20.54. 💯 Highly recommend because he takes his time to teach step by step, especially for those with no prior knowledge of formulas, functions, or automation. It's clear he loves teaching and is passionate about the subject. He’s also a part time lecturer who travels back and forth from SG to PH. He covers his expenses, so you’ll know how dedicated he is to teaching. Req-wise: not heavy and most of the challenging tasks were assigned onsite, but he lowk helps during those assessments. He also grades fairly, so if it’s halata na low to walang effort yung gawa mo, he won’t be afraid to give you a low score. But, he’s not madamot with grading din, so as long as you put in the effort and thought, he will grade you high. Bonus: If you need advice career-wise (or if you want to start), Sir will happily accommodate you. Overall, easy B+, A-able with slight effort.more

not for the exact same subject, but currently taking him for ITMGT 20.54 and would highly recommend to take him! love his classes even though they're at night, and would give food during class HAHA in terms of requirements, he's super reasonable and grades reasonably as well, according to the effort you put in. he makes classes engaging and fun, so mostly they aren't pure lecture classes (a lot of activities in between). definitely not an easy A, but you'll learn a lot from the class! easy B/B+, A-able with effort!more

Took him last sem and I would say he's a great prof all things considered. He teaches in a way that you'd understand the lesson well, and doesn't hesitate to extend a helping hand when needed. He's also forgiving when it comes to cuts if you have a valid reason (which was huge for a 3 cut max class) and all his requirements were due at the end of the sem. His classes only lasted 1:30-2:00 hours maximum then we were free to leave after. He's super friendly too! As for workload, it's honestly quite light even for someone who isn't super accustomed to data. All but 1 lab and 1 exercise were done using Tableau and Tableau Prep Builder which are simple enough to learn if you follow along in class (though not strictly necessary). There were 2 exercises, 1 of which being a group one where 90% of it is done in class while the other one could be done in 30 minutes or so. There were also 3 Labs also done by group but can honestly be done solo naman. The 3rd Lab was split into 2 parts, with the second being a quiz based on the data you derive from the first part done in Tableau. Finals had us create and present dashboard with 3 different visualizations and gather 3 key insights/suggested actions based on the data. All requirements were done offsite and everything could be accomplished in a few hours to a day max. In terms of grading, you won't know your grades till after the sem ends because of people's tendencies to submit on the last day of the semester, but he grades fairly high. Class mean seemed to be a high B+. Unless you really don't know what you're doing, you'll likely end up with a B+ at minimum and an A with near-moderate effort.more

hello! I got maam kaye moendeg for BIO 140.01 - cell mol bio Teaching Style -first off, Maam Kaye is REALLY smart and she teaches so well so you're gonna be in good hands -Her discussions are based on a textbook but she does not require her students to read it -She sends the PPT through a GDrive folder -Lessons are mostly discussing the contents of her PPT, which has minimal texts and are mostly pictures (this depends on the lesson tho, since sometimes her ppts get a bit wordy) -She grades recitations during her discussions, but for our class there weren't a lot of opportunities to recite. To give us recit points, she asked us to ask questions to presenters during the journal paper presentation (these were our only recitation points so if this happens again, make sure to recite) -she mentions details THAT ARENT IN THE PPT. make sure to write notes of information she mentions -she's not really the type of prof who has a very energetic aura during discussions but she also isn't the type you'd fall asleep on Assessments -Quizzes are timed and based solely on the PPT. iirc one minute or 1.5 mins. per question. -Exams are also based only on the PPT. Majority of items are multiple choice, with most questions testing your recall and analysis skills. There's also an enumeration and indentification section (iirc these were two points per item). Final section of her exam is an essay portion about the journal article discussed -There were two journal articles discussed for our class (they were her own published papers and were very easy reads). Make sure to read these adequately and make sure you know the rationale of the paper and of the most important methods because her essay questions are about those. Certain details from the articles will also show up in the enumeration/identification section -we only had one quiz during the entire time we were under her (she became our prof after midterms and she discussed 3 modules), so review well on the quizzes since she doesnt give a lot of them (this might've been due to time constraints if im not mistaken) Overall, definitely A-able with effort and an absolute 🐐🐐🐐🐐more
