Reyes was an absolute angel of a prof! She genuinely loves her job and cares about your growth in understanding the importance of the course.
Our class was sooooo noisy and lowkey not paying attention but she still taught with a smile and passion. People slept, people left to attend meetings, people came late, people left for coffee/snacks. She still loved us !
Her lectures are okay! Not too boring especially since you have the liberty of doing anything during her class (just try not to be obvious).
Outputs wise, it was a bit heavy considering we had 1 onsite meeting every week. Usually had lectures to start, then a workshop/activity (these were lowkey fun), lunch break, then lectures, then end with another workshop.
Starting from week 2, there would be a presentation everyweek which would be accompanied by a written component!
She also had around 11-12 discussion boards she required us to do due at the end of the sem.
Grading wise, shes super generous. Outputs would usually be out of 20 and the lowest would be 17-18s. Even for the final written exam, i thought id lowkey fail but i got a 91 (she gave 3 free bonus points if u put ur fav song). Only thing you need to be weary of is to be VERY VERY mindful of participation. ive had classmates score higher than me in all assessments and still get a B+ because they didnt recite at all.
Tldr: super nice, super considerate, amazing grader, be weary of participationmore
