Hello! had him last january-may during my 2nd sem 2nd yr.
Reqs and Grading
- he grades really high, pero idk whats his basis.
- his reqs were confusing because he told us to make a product and then do what he said during lecture. Pero he doesnt grade them he just makes comments pero its mostly a buildup for the final requirement that we had.
- Final req idk if its still the same pero we had like a company startup fair. We had to show our startup products or companies or service to judges. There was suppose to be a lot of judges but it ended up being teachers and some selected students.
- Got a C+ pero idk talaga where he got the grade from. He doesn't have quizzes or papers, he just made us create a product talaga.
Teaching
- He doesnt really use ppts, he just talks about stuff based on the syllabus.
- He's sometimes late because he comes from meetings or smth, there was one time he was 45mins late and we thought we could leave since he hasn't msged us. but then he messaged our beadle that class will still start.
- There were times na he had speakers to speak for us pero yeah.
- attendance wasnt checked, gadgets were okay
overall if you dont want to stress much except for the final product/requirement, take him or if you want kind of a lenient subj.more

had him last sem for decsc 33, one of my lightest subjs ever 😆 he’s a super nice, chill, and approachable prof!
synch sessions were pretty light since they weren’t too formal cos sir’s a funny guy and he’d only take up around 45 mins - an hour of the allocated time.
modules were SUPER short and chill HAHAHA and in terms of reqs, super light too — just 2 indiv papers and a group project. only problem is he doesn’t return grades and feedback. but for the group project, he held a required consultation for it which was helpful!
super A-able! just make sure to recite cos he counts recit already!more

He's really nice and lenient with deadlines iirc. The topics for his class were also interesting so u won't get bored during discussions.
There were also a lot of group works and few indiv reqs like essays and quizzes. I remember the outputs being mostly creative but still grounded on the topics discussed in class.
My only issue with him was he wasn't able to return some assessments toward the end of the sem so I wasn't sure which grade I was going to get, but thankfully he grades high 🤣. Very A-able imo! Good luck 💕more

tbh i can’t rlly rem na since i had him freshie year pa, but parang no quizzes naman ata! If i’m not mistaken, we had to do 2 reflection papers, 1-2 presentations, and then everything else was related to the final project na (consultations mostly)more

Took Sir Aran last Intersession and the course itself was super chill! Sir is very approachable and easy to talk to, and he tries his best to make his lectures interesting and relevant to the real world. Requirements were basically just 2 individual essays and a group project, and he grades very fairly! I’d say an easy A to A-able with effort.more

Hi! I had Sir during my soph year and he's super nice as a prof! Super chill too and requirements were pretty easy. The modules are simple as in ang onti lang talaga HAHAHA
The class never felt a burden! In fact, it felt so light so you're in good hands!

lol, i agree with the opposite review here, di mo kakikitaan ng transparency in terms of grading. nagbago lang ng grading a few days before yung date ng release ng grades at wala man lang ni comment as to how we got that grade, which means masyado syang nagrush sa paggrade. we tried messaging him but wala siyang reply. still confused how i got that grademore

Hi, this is an opposite review from the prev comments! I think he changed his style from before because he gave “too many” people an A, had him last sem and to my knowledge he didn’t give anyone one. Highest was B+ iirc. He is super chill, but maybe a bit too much because he never returned any grade feedback. This made the class super confused as to why we got that grade. When emailed to inquire about the grade breakdown, none of the students received a reply back.more
