Had her for decsci during sophomore year! Easy A sya nung time namin pero honestly her class was so bad. She rejected all our ideas but during the innovation fair, the ones she rejected were the most popular ones there. Honestly she made me want to disassociate from my body doctor strange style.more

Run far away from sir art. His classes are so boring you would literally start counting sheep for time to pass. He grades so weirdly and gives the grades so late. I got a B from him from having high grades and reciting every class (max. effort). Ifl he is also the type to not give an A for funsies or bc of ego.more

maam abby was great in sts and you’ll really learn stuff. grades wise, i say lower your expectations as much as possible especially if you didnt do well in her exams (dw they were difficult for us all)more

i loved maam abby (sts 10) :)) lts were a bit challenging, no gadgets in class, no ppts either, but i still loved going to her class. i became more interested in the environmental sciences bc of her class (not in sose btw)more

millo talks like chatgpt when u prompt it to "sound smarter". like hes saying so much but nothing at the same time. his quizzes are a little hard, but passable. and yes he grades like lotterymore

I usually don’t rate profs based from being an easy A BUT with Sir Art Millo, you’ll barely learn anything. He is really nice as a person and is passionate about gender related topics but as a prof If ever you can’t loadrev out, just make sure to always consult with him so you can know what kind of output he is looking for & make sure he knows you!!more

echoing the other comments here, nothing notable happens during her onsite classes. everything is common sense and can be read off of her 500 powerpoint slides (all combined into one gslides link, by the way). treat it as free aircon and manage your expectations. she's not the worst but you won't learn anything new. take her if you like having one-on-one messenger calls with your profmore

she was dreadful. primarily (only) used FACEBOOK MESSENGER the whole sem. everything is sent through some link. guidelines or instructions for anything, she’ll say in class.. maybe… if you ask for them in the group chat, goodluck following bc they’re always really vague and she also has a hard-to-please disposition. she’s a suboptimal prof regardless of what kind of student you are.more

As a person - chill (this is going to backfire) - nice if she likes u - if she feels like it, she’s gonna give attitude - ok first few weeks but as the course progresses, she gets CONFUSING - main cause of stress is the miscommunication and lack of clarity with instructions Teaching - does not add anything to the subject or to your learning - goes through her 150+ page slides that are sent out so you can just skip class honestly - late to class and messages the class group chat to wait for her - does everything in messenger and canvas is just a submission bin - replies late Activities - PURE ASS - no format and repetitive for all activities - total of 13 or 14 activities - can resubmit if grade is low - plot twist: she returned 1 out of 14 activities so previous point is useless - different instructions across all her classes TLDR; would not take her again.more

product board due this monday + product fair. kelan siya nagbigay ng instructions? TODAY! SATURDAY. she had the entire sem to inform us on what we need to prepare and she only tells us 2 days before. and to think she wanted us to send the board to her nung thursday ATE KO ANONG ISESEND NAMEN WLA K NMNG KLARONG INSTRUCTIONS NA BINIGAY??? 13 activities and she gives u the opportunity to resubmit to raise ur grade para u can accommodate her comments PERO ISANG ACTIVITY PALANG YUNG CHINECK NIYA. mind you since january pa toh binigay ha. pano kame magreresubmit to adjust to her comments IF DI PA NYA NACHECK??? sana nalang di siya nag assign kung di niya kayang magcheck. we dont even know if we’re passing. you can have ur paper checked irl pero prepare for more comments that she never mentioned when u talked. my friend asked bat mababa score niya and anong ginawa niyang mali. her response: “everything”. yun lang. aguy maraming salamat po! so constructive naman of you! also not everything was wrong ha. kulang lang pero yk she can say that in a maayos na paraan??? shes nice to me pero sa iba hindi. communicates through messenger, not canvas. pati consultations mo video call sa messenger. her instructions are not on canvas, its on a gslide, and it’s not even complete. daming pinapagawa tas paiba iba instructions niya. shes always late to class. genuinely incompetent. sayang lang tuition mo sa kanya at mawawalan ka rin ng pasensya. i dont know how she still has a job.more

i'd say ma'am abi isn't THAT bad, but also not good either LMAO you just have to show her you put effort into your requirements, ask questions to seem like you're interested in the class, and submit everything. she literally gave almost all of us grades of As and B+s if your wish is to learn things, choose a different prof. but if you're fine with just 'palamig' in class while still getting a high grade, go for her class lolmore

I'm taking her ITENT 120 class, but I hope this helps 1. grading system: she provided us with a very very vague rubric to follow. to actually know what she wants or looks for in your work, you'll have to ask and ask and ask. sometimes she won't even respond lol. we don't know how high or low she grades, she hasn't returned any of our requirements. 😃 2. workload: we had 3/4 major things to finish over the sem. each major task had like a lot of minor requirements within them that you also had to pass, more on research stuff. the first few ones were light lang, but the last 2 were VERY heavy, especially because ang labo ng instructions and mga hinihingi niya. for our last requirement, we had to make an entire UI for an app we made up, one for mobile, one for tablet/pc, and one in dark mode, with 2 versions (user and service). CHOOSE YOUR GROUPMATES WISELY. you'll be working with them on your major requirements throughout the whole sem. you can't have both a bad prof and a bad set of groupmates. 💀 3. teaching style and attitude: she's very unorganized lol. for all of her lectures, she just read off of her 500+ page google slides. all of the topics to be discussed for the whole sem are in 1 SINGLE PPT. you don't even have to listen to her while in onsite classes. she literally just speed runs the powerpoint, and she doesn't really add anything substantial or note worthy during the lectures. she NEVER uses canvas for posting things, she only used them as a submission bin. all communication goes through facebook messenger. I recommend you ask or talk to her onsite than online as she barely replies (she ghosted a lot of our groups). atttitude-wise, she's actually really (maybe even too much) chill in class. medyo mabiro siya onsite and smiley sa students. you can also approach her for consultations (more on things outside the class itself, in my case, I asked her about other classes in QMIT) and she'd be very willing to accomodate you and answer your questions.more

thoughts as her beadle this sem: wag - instructions were brief and vague (2-3 sentences lang be fr), relevant details had to be put together through back-and-forth clarifications - suffered for lack of transparency in terms of output expectations (no rubrics were provided for guidance), you will undergo multiple rounds of revision just to meet an expectation that was never communicated in the first place - no Canvas announcements, just radio silence or last-minute messages via Messenger re: changes in class modality etc - lectures only scratched the surface of concepts, did not gain any particularly novel insights from this class, tamang palamig lang sa som - we have not an inkling of our class standing she just returned our very first assessment today... at the tail-end of the semester... - awaiting beadle retirement 🕊️🙏🏼more

Hii! Didn’t have her for OPMAN but I had her for ITENT 120 and all that I could say is if there is an option not to take her, do not take her. She is kind naman pero she is so unorganized and she really does not post anything in canvas. She just uses a ppt compilation of her lessons and thats just mainly her material. The lecture is basically just her talking. On the first day of class she was asking students questions pero later on she didn’t na. For consultations, she kinda ghosted my group a few times esp when we consult in chat (our medium of communication is fb messenger btw :<<). For calls and onsite consult she’s accommodating naman and answers questions well. For grading, I dunno if she grades high (or with feedback) because she hasn’t returned any of our individual or group outputs.more
