👋 Ma’am Milette is a pretty good professor, here are my tots as someone who took her LAB and LEC classes: ✅: - very considerate in-terms of letting her students choose certain groups and activities! she allowed us to choose our groups for our culminating activity, alongside the type of test we’d have (moving or regular test) - she’s also considerate in-terms of making classes asynchronous! as long as your beadle emails her in-case of typhoons or any other reasonable reason, she’ll consider! she’s not pushy about things being f2f. - she’s approachable imo! i wasn’t scared about approaching or asking her certain things about the activities. - she’s very motherly ngl, she was always concerned when people started fainting due to them skipping breakfast for her class being in the morning (also kuwentos about her family sometimes! was very sweet about it) ❌: - sometimes her instructions and dates can be vague, you’d have to clarify a lot along the way. - sometimes the workload can seem heavy since she regularly does discussion boards and some tasks can seem heavier, especially as the semester is ending. overall, what i love about ma’am milette was her consideration and approachability as a professor! it’ll take a lot of communication to get things down (esp if you’re gonna beadle) but overall, i had a good time as her student!more

Had her for one of my major subjects during online class but she’s super super solid!! - She gave no deadlines at all; literally a double edged sword but if u have other crazy subjects it means you dont have to worry as much in her class - Requirements are super chill, only 1-2 discussion boards per module. You would usually google something then post it + personal reflections, quizzes have very generous time limits, lots of bonuses :DDD - Really understandable modules as well! We only had 4 in total, but you’d learn a lot. Diagrams were there din para you could understand it more easily -Not much sync sessions but she would post lectures on some pages, transcripts have the slides too so you could read them if u dont wanna watch HAHAHA - There are some concepts that she doesn’t really explain AHSJDHS and minsan expects you to utilize them na, but hindi lahat naman and they’re google-able AHAHAHAH - She is a K-weeb omfg she loves Kdramas (dots forever ) and even played Twice on the last day I SCREAMED Super super A-able!! Literally the chillest prof i had so far!!more

- Easy A, even if ur failing she’ll probs curve- super nice, but she can smell bullshit in your project- if u wanna learn a lot of new things maybe this shouldn’t be your first choice, I honestly learn more from random YT vids I watch- at first she put stuff we never learned from class in our tests, specifically about biomes and environments. I only survived that portion cuz I watch Natgeo and play Minecraft HAHAHAmore

Updates for online class:- her modules are SO COMPREHENSIVE AND LONG LEGIT like 8-12 hours yung learning time ng modules, even if I tried to speed run it, it took me 5 hours lol. we had 6 modules(?) ata or 5 I can’t remember but the info was understandable- she grades super easily like she’s not afraid to drop As everywhere lol- sync sessions are kinda kalat in the sense that there are a lot of technical difficulties on everyone’s end. also there are some mishaps that happen on canvas so just notify her- she also grades consistently during the quarter so you know where you stand. Final exam is optional except for those who get lower than a B 1 or 2 weeks before the end of the quartermore

Hi! I took Doc Eli's class last Intersession and it was more than I had imagined it to be!! She def knows what she's teaching and she's really passionate and pours her heart out in teaching the course :> All her activities are very engaging, interactive, and eye-opening. For the workload, it is very bearable naman, mostly discussion boards and a few quizzes. Same with the comment above, choose your groupmates wisely cause you will be working together most of the time. Overall, it's an easy A!! :>more

Ma’am Milette is one of the nicest profs I’ve encountered in my first seeeem!!! She’s super considerate about almost everything. Although at first, she was inconsistent and malabo sa lessons but I think it was becos she’s not yet confident in class. She’s just new!! But eventually, she’s super okay na and u can see she’s passionate about her field. She also gives fun activities so the class is not gonna be boring. She uses ppts and always sends it before any quiz or long tests. Choose your groupmates wisely becos you’re gonna be doing almost everything in class together for the whole sem. A-able, indeed!more
