Updated Review TLDR; Wouldnt recommend it bc its boring and felt like I couldve used my limited electives on a class more worth my time, but it wasnt a bad class necessarily, its just kinda a throwaway so good for heavy sems + A-able naman PROS - definitely knowledgable as he's a highly experienced professional, I suppose I did learn from his lectures - gives a lot of examples so his concepts are easy to understand (but causes discussions to drag on for too long sometimes) - A-able, grades fairly high - Grades kind of quickly - Super light workload, 5 super short papers (min of 2 pages); lightest class ive ever taken - only had 1 super short reading towards the end of our sem - v friendly !! - he tries to make the class as chill as possible bc he knows we have a lot of other stuff going on - often dismisses us early - i think he rounds up or curves a bit bc i ended up w a much higher final grade than I calculated CONS - pretty boring, i feel like i wasted my elective - 95 to get an A so I felt stressed the whole time esp bc wala silang feedback, but I think he rounded up bc I got an A (always says "you make your own grade tho") - said he doesnt like if u ask how to ace his class, which is fair - tends to ramble a bunch so id feel so annoyed towards the end bc i just want it to end ahahahaha - happy w the grade pero medyo hassle lang The class was also online w onsite classes after every paper submission where we started at 9am instead of 8am so everyone can settle; we have a class discussion about the topic we discussed You're not gonna learn anything suuper great but was still educational, just not a life-changing class by any meansmore

Currently taking this class so this is based on my experience so far! -Class is mostly online, with onsite sessions every few weeks lang. -He doesnt give the power points out so you have to take notes (or screenshots) during class cause the papers are based on the lectures. -Sir tends to give ALOT of examples and tends to ramble about them, he also randomly calls people to give examples. But he also makes sure that you understand the lesson based on the examples being given. -Theres no canvas work (readings, discussion boards) and the class only has 5 requirements which are papers. The papers are basically you answering the prompt and giving examples to support it. -Grading-wise he gives fairly high naman, but he doesnt give feedback on what you could improve on. Overall a pretty chill class (sir himself said he tries to make it as chill as possible) with a prof thats kinda fun Lolo vibes but you arent going to learn anything mind-blowing.more

Sir is great! I enjoyed his classes because he has interesting insights on various topics. He’s also chill and treats his students like adults. There are barely any reqs for the class. Other than a reflection paper and the NSTP project, you have to do two presentations on readings in the syllabus. He’s pretty chill when it comes to grading and he’s not particular about your presentations. He doesn’t do long lectures, instead, he talks a bit after each person does their presentation. If you’d rather learn from your prof than your classmates’ presentations, you might not like this, but personally I found that presenting the topics helps the class understand the lessons firsthand. Overall I appreciated sir and I wish I could have another class with him! He’s super nice.more

currently taking him rn! if you want to learn something for fun or want a light class take him!! for reqs we only had - 1 20-minute presentation (by pair) - 3 seatworks - 1 final paper he chooses to hold his classes through hybrid set up (so both onsite and online) so its rlly chill!!more
