She’s just amazing at teaching. I’m not sure how she grades but I’ve had sessions with her to better understand theo and philo discussions and no one has ever explained things better than her!! I promise that you’ll love her kwentos I wish I had the chance to have her as a prof! Waaahmore

All I know is one of the lessons I try to apply in my life are from intellectual conversations with Ate Jo. She's a nice and genuine person and even though we met outside the classroom setting, I know that she's a great teacher! Grading wise, idk :( sorry. Pero when u know, let me know lol Hahahahamore

If you have any kind of religious trauma, she’s one of the best profs to help you heal from that! She’s very understanding of different views, and her class felt like a very safe space. More than just teaching THEO, it felt very relevant to life in general. In my experience (malabo na though since I took her class two years ago), she teaches the concepts well and invites discussion from the class. As someone who likes to recite (u also AJ Raymundo HAHA), it was amazing to share ideas with everyone. It was really easy to learn the concepts because of how she taught them (I barely read the readings and never took down notes but still got an A). Definitely A-able w/ minimal effort imo!! For me, madali lang yung orals niya because it was that easy to understand the lessons and apply them to real life. Just do your best to really understand the lessons and listen to lectures. If I could take her class again, I would. 10000000000/10 prof, would recommend till I die, amen.more

Get her!!! You'll be in great hands 😌 Ma'am Jo's very chill and sweet. And her classes are fun because every now and then, she'll have engaging activities + a short sectoral situationer reporting that everyone'll have to do at least once in the sem, but it's all chill 🫶 Her requirements include discussion boards, quizzes, midterm oral (online when I had her), and worksheet + final output in collab w/ NSTP. She also grades participation (voluntary recitation) and may offer bonus papers. So you have quite a lot of ways to pull up your grade! I think A with average effort. Pls be kind to her 🥺more
