Took him for Psyc 21 (physiological psychology) but he’s the best!! Super kind and really puts his students first (he’s like a dad).
For LTs, they’re really like how he says they are. I’m not sure how he does it for psych stats, but at least for us, it was more application and less textbook-definition style. He also gave bonuses and he’s a generous grader:)
Teaching can get pretty fast (but that was because mahaba talaga coverage ng physio psych), but he will make sure you guys understand the content. He sends his ppts; things that aren’t in his ppt won’t be in the LT. He’s always willing to move deadlines as long as you ask. He’s also always open for consult.
TL;DR, take note that I had him for Psyc21, so not sure how the technicalities (quizzes, LTs, etc.) change, but you’re really in great hands!!more

worth taking him for this class! he’s very insightful as a person, so the discussions were very rich—whether we were discussing in class about PSYC or anything beyond the subject. given na ma-effort intindihin yung mga technical stuff sa PSYC, he’s shown to be willing naman in taking time to aid your learning experience sa class. just don’t feel pressured to ask when ur feeling that ur understanding is getting a bit behind already hehe
as long as you’re not spacing out too much from the topics and activities in class, u’ll almost be certified with a B and it’s also definitely A-able !! not only will u be getting a good grade, u might possibly end up bringing along some substantial insights on things worth concerning about in life hwhahaha 😆more

“I got an A so yes!! As long as your data and analysis is sound, and that you’re passionate as u explain. Kind of an easy A? Syempre if you don’t use the software that well or meaningless yung topic/analysis you would probably have a much lower grade pero when i took him nung intersession is quite easy naman. I have 9 units last intersession.
The software tho might take some time to fully understand it”more

Dela paz was my Bio teacher in 2nd year HS. I'm not sure how he is in Psy 108, but in my experience he tends to be lenient with his students (so long as you don't give him a reason to be hard on you). His pacing is relatively fast, so expect info overload in some of his sessions.more

He was my bio teacher in hs as well. Assuming that he is like the one I have known in Hs, he will definitely teach you everything that you need. He also shares a lot of stories but most of them are full of lessons talaga that you can use to remember when you answer your tests.
