she grades fairly. as with most profs in the bio dept, you get as good as you give. study hard and study well for her LTs. i’d say going through the material she gives you is enough to do well in an exam but if you’d like to understand the topics more in depth, like let’s say you want to visualize the things she talks about, it’s best to have the textbook. oftentimes though you need a higher level of understanding to get through the textbook so i’d recommend just using her materialmore

Take her! Super nice and will adjust when needed (just give her a heads up). Tbh, cell mol is a really packed subject so her class might seem heavy, but it’s more of a subject problem than a her problem. Also, not very strict with attendance cause she uploads her lectures in canvas (her onsite classes are just the live versions of the video she uploads in canvas).more

no-brainer take her. knows her stuff, funny, accommodates questions, does not check attendance. grades with justice, it's normal to get relatively low grade in the first LT but it gets better, quizzes arent bad either, n/n-able. there is a lot to study, which is not new naman for a bio sub, and the exam dates are flexible, there's no need to memorize but it has to ring a bell when u hear a keyword
Hello! I think she adjusted her workload last sem because when I took her the workload felt too much haha. I made another comment about it so you can find her prev workload then but that aside, I can vouch for the tests being challenging! The content of the class was good and you're gonna learn a lot 🙂 Just really manage your time and study well for the tests!more

grading: Generous, but firm. You'll learn most definitely XD
Teaching: She's already got a lot of videos out related to the modules, they all go into the topic very well and you should be prepared if you take notes while watching them. Online class-wise, not really sure since we took ours onsite.
Memorization: Much like with any bio course, there'll be memorization. Just be diligent about it and try to relate it to easier topics that you can digest. (ex. relate gate ion channels with stupid nlex traffic grr)
Workload: The workload shouldn't be too much but you'll still need to keep an eye on it. Groupworks are present alongside other materials you can use to study
