Finished a sem with him and here are my thoughts. YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS! Sir Raffie is very approachable and fun to be with. He always prepares activities/icebreakers per module since he wants the class to be always engaging. He's new that is why there are no reviews about him. Teaching Style: There are times he's explanation is a bit confusing. Not super super life-changing but not bad either. He's good. Workload: Bearable for me! 2 Narratives (it was supposed to be 3 but the class voted not to continue the 3rd one due to the lack of time), 2 quizzes (The quiz is hard ToT, bcuz it has to be exactly from his ppt), & 2 group work. A few worksheets but all I can remember is 2. Then an Oral Exam You can always ask for an extension from him :)) Honestly, you don't have to necessarily read his readings because he actually discusses it in class. You can just scrim it. He is A-able /B+ I must say. I got a B from him (THE QUIZZES GOT ME ToT ) Overall, HE IS SUPER NICE! 😁more

had him for second sem: he is amazing! iirc we had two quizzes, two faith narratives, two group activities, and a group final orals. the first quiz was a bit hard, but the second one was aight. focus on his lectures when studying---he can give out ppts if u ask very very nicely and if u still listen to his lectures. for the faith narratives, be as honest as you can. he really wants to know how u emerged as a person so u can get in touch with ur faith, so honest reflections are a must! use the readings to cite. i genuinely forgot ab the group activities but tbh... js be creative and straight to the point. dont try to overdo or underdo it. for the final orals, js make sure that u got the central message of each thesis statement. explain thru the readings, give examples, apply it to urself if u can! he also curves! i asked him (VERY NICELY) to curve and he did so for the class. tldr, he is one of my fav profs in ateneo. love love love sir raffie!more
