i took miss laya before shifting out of AB PSY, and all i can say is that she’s honestly a very friendly, chill and approachable prof. she makes the lectures very digestible and relates a lot of the concepts discussed in class to her line of work, some of her personal experiences, and to real-life scenarios, kayaaa class discussions can be rather engaging at times :)) her class is fortunately going to very much be a breather if you’ll be dealing with heavy classes.
as for the requirements, i recall that we had some reaction papers, a group presentation, and 2 long tests. the first LT miss gave was rather challenging, so a lot of students didn’t get to score a B+/A (the top 2 highest scores around then was a B) however, after seeing the class mean, parang mas minadali nya talaga ang 2nd LT which does show how considerate miss laya can be. i would also like to point out that if you wish to score high in your reaction papers or improve on aspects of your learning, miss laya is easily reachable through email, and the feedback she gives is cohesive naman.
overall, i can say she’s an easy B/B+, and certainly A-able too. i did end up getting an A from her but i think it’s mostly a product of exerting effort.more
