Easy B/B+, Hard A, best bet if you have a heavy sem

Easy B/B+, Hard APros:- If you have a heavy sem, he’s already your best bet- all quizzes are online- a ton of groupworks (sir calls them Grp Workshops) where you have to analyze some documents or videos related to the topics, lowkey fun- reflections are also quite easy pero its always about a certain films with an accompanying thesis given by him (idk ano meron pero i got a 4.3 out of 4 so sir prolly gives out plus pts if you did something special, idk anong ginawa ko na special TT)- Just one final video presentationCons:- Sir’s lecture will get boring- There is this certain way he speaks that makes him hard to understand (Baka acoustics lang yun ng Berch or baka siya na talaga TT) thats why i reco to sit in the front if u gonna take him- He rarely gave out perfect scores on our quizzes. Personally, sabi ni sir kasi magcite kami (not like APA citation but more of casual lang ganun). I already did pero my score wasnt different from my prev quizzes so anuba talaga sir TT- Hard to reach out kahit Gmail or Canvas, i know someone that has to message sir more than 5 times to respond TT (tbf sir is a prof in UP and DLSU on top of ADMU so I imagine tambak ang gmail niya if ever)- Mabagal magbalik ng scores. Approaching midterms he just returned 2 quizzes then released everything by finals week Idk how to describe the grading system ni sir pero i think all outputs are on a 1:1 basis (like 1 point on the quiz is one point in your grade) so like by the end you can just add all of your scores to determine your pre final grade. idk if sir curves cos i computed my grade to be a B+ pero naging A siya bigla sa AISIS. I think its because lagi akong nagtatanong sakanya everytime so yeah TT (take this with a grain of salt)Overall, kahit mej boring ang lecture, resisting the boredness you can tell sir really knows his shit and has a good grasp on history talaga. Sometimes he makes really good points about things that was quite eye opening for me. Grades high on other outputs pero its the quizzes that really makes the difference between a B+ and an A.more

hahaha... don't do it not if you value your learning at least, while his reqs aren't super difficult he's the type who does barely the bare minimum as a teacher. most lectures were prerecorded videos and i get the feeling they weren't even recorded this year. he barely asks for any student input or discussion in lectures, the only real participation was group workshops where we analyzed texts. it just really feels like he's trying to earn money by doing nothing, there are definitely worse profs to pick (at least i wouldn't call him a terror prof) but if you want to learn anything at all go for someone else. also he gave us an extremely gory and graphic film to watch with no content warnings so do with that info what you willmore
