Hello! I took Ma’am Nava’s class last semester. Ma’am is very nice and knowledgeable with the topics she tackles on. You should be expecting a somewhat paper-heavy semester, as you will be writing about 5 main papers that will summarize your grade. Most of the papers will be done by groups. Choose your groupmates wisely since they’ll be your groupmates for the entire semester given that the papers are interconnected with each other too.
As for attendance, ma’am usually checks it at the start of the encounter. Discussions are very interesting especially if you want engage in political analyses. Lastly, in terms of grading, I would say she’s pretty A-able but you have to put in the right amount of effort on your papers since Ma’am really goes over them. Hope this helps ☺️more
