took her last intersession (ay 2024-2025)! i'd say she isn't strict naman with having u move to csp 12 but she definitely does encourage it bc she sees students w bg taking away opportunities from those w/o to learn ganun ^^ and she doesn't hide the fact that she expects much of you if you have background! and it's easy for her to tell who has and who hasn't bc she arranged us to sit closer to her if walang bg and closer to the door if meron altho she says rin na those w bg tend to take the class for granted and that's exactly why it's them who don't get As, so be mindful of that lang!! but other than that, A-able ^^ love her so much that's literally mothermore

the besttttt! medj strict siya tho if ure filchi/someone with bg, like interrogation during schola brevis typa strict. pero di naman na siya nagpapamove to CSP 12 or at least in our class. parang more than half in our class before have bg na pero walang namove to the higher level CSP (so imagine the pressure i went through, singing a Chinese song in front of them HAHAHHAA) overall, she's fair naman with the people with bg, she gives more attention nga lang to first time takers, like kami lang natatawag minsanmore

took csp 11 under lao shi last sem! the workload is very doable and doesn’t really get in the way of other acads. I had no background so she was a bit lenient but I remember she was kind of strict towards students with background. Her classes and modules are really well structured just make sure to come to class prepared (handouts, vocab list, etc.). Can’t speak for students with background but I definitely enjoyed her class! overall: take it and have fun in her class:)more

LOVEE HER!!! so motherly in a good way. she is a little intimidating towards students w background because the course is meant for absolute beginners BUT its all very light hearted so dont take it to heart. in terms of workload its average! not too heavy at all but not light either. all pretty doable esp if u have background. overall: u should take her if u get the chance! fun class and if u put enough effort and she sees u participating then an A is very achievable!more
