Hi!! Ms. Kate is a great professor. You're in good hands. From what I remember, we had three long tests (LTs), and you’ll need to prepare well because her tests can be a bit challenging. They’re mostly multiple-choice questions, with some problem-solving. Believe me, though, the multiple-choice can be harder, but if you study, you’ll pass. We also had problem sets, which are a good way to make up for any low scores, and they were relatively easy. She’s also generous with partial and extra points, so that helps too. Sometimes, the test would have over 30 points, but there are 33 points to answer, so if you get them all right, you get a bonus of 3 extra points. I can share my past papers with you if you want. There are also other assessments but I forgot them na. I remember we also had a reporting. Lastly, there’s a comprehensive exam at the end of the course, but if you already have an A standing, you’re exempt from it. She’s really good at teaching, though sometimes she doesn’t have an answer to some of the more complex questions my classmates ask. But to be fair, some of the questions are pretty advanced, even I don’t always get them. But overall, she’s really kind and A-able with effort. Good luck!more

Not sure if this pertains to Anachem, but I personally had a good time in her class! Historically speaking Anachem is an evil subject and you need a lot of background experience with chem since a lot of the chem department expects you to have the basics down before coming to their class. That said, make sure to always listen to her lectures! Since she covers almost everything there and make sure to repeatedly study the lessons since chem is all about practice. She’s also open to consultation, and you can ask her questions if you’re confused about anything. Note that she talks REALLY fast and moves on really quick, so make sure you don’t get distracted in the lecture because it’s easy to get lost. Also, remind her to go back on stuff she says she will come back to, cause she might not remember since she handles multiple classes. + Pls don’t cut! Trust me, deciphering the slides is like reading a cryptic message 😭 Goodluck! Wishing u the best! 🫶more
