Manageable reqs, but grading often lands C/C+

I’m taking his class this sem and so far the reqs are manageable, easy to communicate with, and vv open to consultation. It’s his first time teaching so idk if things might change with him but as long as you have good groupmates (he assigns this at the start of the sem) everything is manageable. The last 2 quizzes will be about coding and he’ll let you take it at home. Also you won’t always have synch sessions with him, usually when a worksheet is due on the day of his class, he’ll make it asynch. Deadlines nga lng are set at 7pm, he doesn’t believe in the 11:59pm deadline. BUT, he said at the start of the sem most of his students in other unis get a C or C+ with his grading system so im not sure how it’ll turn out by the end of the sem, even if my submissions are graded fairly high.more

Hi, just took his 193 class this sem! Really chill prof and very consultable for all the worksheets + final paper and grades high for them kahit may errors ka Only thing that can pull your grade down is the midterm (30% of grade) since a lot of people got really low scores and its puro application based so it can be hard to review Aside from midterm, there's 4 worksheets for the research paper, the paper itself, 6 (?) quizzes. Each worksheet has 2-3 weeks of prep so its very doable, quizzes are always announced (4 short onsite T/F or MCQ quizzes with 2 take home coding quizzes). He's very transparent and gives good feedback so make the most of consultations! Overall good prof, just don't take him for granted!more

hii usually worksheets are worth 15 points and even if u have errors he gives u 13 or 14 points. Also for quizzes he gives out half points per item if your answer is somewhat correct (kayang kaya ibola)more
