Just had Mam this 2nd sem! The following are my comments: • Workload: Overall the workload is moderate, not too heavy and mostly groupworks so be sure to get good groupmates. She grades high but not all groupworks under her are perfect, the lowest she goes is B or B+ iirc, there’s also a final project where you make a product (kahit digital, doesn’t have to be you making the product itself, kahit an idea of it is enough), tho do note here sometimes she gives 8/10 (which is a B.) • Exams: Dito talaga ka mahihila, the class average was around C+ to D (with 2 outliers of B or B+ I believe), although Mam will give plus points for this so talaga mahihila grade mo pataas, you get around +5 and then do make sure to pay attention when magr-recheck ng paper kasi for me I had around a +10 added to my score since zipgrade checked some of my answers wrong. The lessons are purely the videos mam uploads, most of her onsite sessions are just a rehash of her online sessions or activities. The supplementary readings aren’t part. Also her test type is pure multiple choice (her last exam had 1 essay pero keri naman, not necessarily need magmemorize for that), pero all the answers sound right haha. Also all her quizzes are online over 10 (pero same parin medj mahirap since alot sound right) • Attendance: As much as possible don’t be absent, if you’re absent during an activity that’s auto 0 for you, even if your group is there, you’ll be graded individually. She also takes note of those who have perfect attendance (I heard) so keep that in mind. • Overall, would take her again, put in a good amount of effort and you’ll be fine. Shes B-B+ able, getting an A would mostly depend on how you did sa exam. For me I got around a B sa exam niya (due to the corrections and bonuses) so my final grade was B+ even though some activities of mine would get 8/10. Had her for first sem, love love love doc jaz!! She's vv motherly, teaches in a very detailed and comprehensive manner, also makes discussions engaging and entertaining!! Workload is okay, as a B-average student, it was manageable naman. There will be some groupworks na online, sometimes onsite. She doesn't grade low and isn't nitpicky but ofc you have to exert effort talaga to get A. Exams were the harder part for me. Very info-heavy, like you really have to pay attention during class lectures + take notes from her slides. Our class average was like B-C+ during the early half of the sem, but once you get a grasp of how she does her exams, it's pretty easy to get high scores or even an A.more
