SUPER CHILL as in he highkey doesnt care pa nga if ur doing other things in ur gadget sa class! theres no quizzes at all cos he believes art shouldnt be academically tested HAHAHAH and tbh u dont have to focus too much on note taking, u can honestly just take a few notes para lang its easier for u to relate ur creative output/s to the discussion if u cant fully absorb it quickly. u dont need to be artistic cos like what the other comments said, u can do any form of media u want as ur output. may it be poetry, dancing, games, cooking, website, videos etc he’ll really appreciate that! hes VERY generous when extending deadlines and isnt strict on being tardy in class (one time me and my friends came at 4 and class started at 3:30 😅) hell mostly rely on attendance but dont abuse it too much if it becomes a habit his class is SUPER A-able!!! just make sure ur outputs arent basta basta lang and make sure its maayos AHAHAHA good luck!!more

Took him first semester last year! Iirc it was an individual essay, a group performance, a solo collage and then final artwork. He's a super easy A speaking as a SOSE person who also isnt creative. For our final project most people didnt do actual artworks. Personally I just brought a robot and made it run around. Other people coded their own small projects din since we were a cs block. As long as theres symbolism he'll accept it. As for tablets for note taking he doesnt really care what you do during class unless theres an activity. You can note take but personally I didn't see much of a point since you absorb everything through the activities anyways. Overall super vouch! Also to add his grading is odd. He doesnt give perfect since he feels that its weird that A has 8 points while everything else has 4. Highest you can get is 95 and everything else is in increments of 5 so the next lowest grade is 90.more

10/10 prof would recommend + super chill in and out of class so it's not too hard to talk to him when u need to consult + his classes are fun and engaging! we had activities that were not hard to do and were related to the lesson + the only requirements we had were a freeform essay (not really because u can basically do any medium for this one), and 1 grp performance, 1 photowalk, and ur final art project of ur choosing; basically no written quizzes or exams unless u write for that one essay + so far parang di siya strict sa paggrade, as long as u follow the instructions and put effort into ur work tldr: TAKE HIM!! as someone who likes art but isnt an art student, i really like his class and got to make art i like :DDmore

laff lang siya i promise no quizzes no exams no anything 4 creative outputs - personal essay (any medium) - music video recreation (live, by group) - photoessay keme per group - final creative whatever i sang for 3 of the 4 requirements easy A as iiiinnnn pumasok ka lang, no need for creativity kasi kahit anong gusto mong gawin papasok yan (magluto magdesign kumanta sumayaw magdrama etc.)more

He's amazing as other commenters said, mageffort ka lang. You don't need to be able to sing dance or draw to do well (although ofc it helps). Only "performance" is a music video recreation by group. As long as you show that you really put in effort and applied some concepts from class you'll come out with B+ or A. Have fun!more
