Leaving a review for STO. DOMINGO, Joachim for LAS 21 (Principles of Management):
Note: Currently taking him this sem (1st sem AY ‘24-‘25)
It was overall a chill class and he’s a chill prof. The workload was light (we had a few papers individual and by group and two quizzes (one worth 20 pts and one worth 40 points; multiple choice and some short sentence answers), a few activities, and a final paper at the end with reporting.
He makes the discussions easy to understand and explains clearly! In terms of grading, he is not absolutely strict but still give your best ofc. He’s also kind and accommodating with questions and requests most of the time :))
Tips for his class:
- Best to bring a laptop during discussion as his powerpoints itself may not be enough to explain.
- He never mentioned it in class, but it is best to try going through the book in the syllabus to further help you understand the lessons.
- ALSO mute your gadgets in class because he gives a surprise quiz if he hears noise from it.
Overall, I would say he is definitely A-able with effort!more
