Hi! Took Sir Villena for LAS 20 and I have to say, he’s definitely one of my favorite profs in Ateneo!!! In terms of teaching, his presentation is in bulletpoints and very straightforward so it’s very easy to understand. He will also tell stories of himself that is always related to the presentation so that it’s easier for us to understand. In terms of workload, he has 2 individual assessments, 4 online quizzes, and 4 group assessments with 1 final group presentations. So make sure to get really good groupmates!! He is very easy to talk to and we would often talk about our personal hobbies and interests all the time Downside lang is it’s quite hard to get an A from him, so you really need to work hard if you want an A from him But Overall, one of my favorites professors ever and would take him again!!!more

maam abi def a-able!!! just make sure to consult her and ask a lot of questions regarding your project! (i'm not sure what your project's going to be because i had her for itent 120). in class itself, she just reads her powerpoint. at first she was more engaging with the students, asking for input and recit, but towards the end she just read her ppt nalang. expect to have 60% onsite, 40% asynch classes! she usually makes classes asynch and consultations online after all the lessons have been discussed. overall she's not a terror prof (she's actually pretty kind and approachable if you ask me), but you'll def not learn that much from her aside from whatever's in the slides 😅 a-able with minimal effort!!more

okay i know a lot of the comments are saying to run from sir. art but i swear you can still get a good grade with a lot of participation and if you really integrate his comments into your paper!! genuinely be pabibo when reciting as its part of his grade. however, don't expect to learn much because his words don't really make sense... so take the initiative to do the readings in order to do well. as someone that got an A in his class, i did a bit mid for the quizzes but consulted with him for all my papers to really gauge what he wants since malabo talaga sya.more

Had him for first sem and I had him on a Wednesday. He only used the full 3 hours once and only used 2 hours for the rest. There’s an activity every meeting so make sure not to cut. Very easy A, literally minimal effort. His lectures may be boring but they’re actually fun if you engage in his discussion. Speaking of engaging. Recite 20 times the whole sem and that’s an automatic 20%. All his quizzes were online and he’s very accommodating. You’re in good hands.more
