hi! i didn’t have her for 10.01, but just like the other comment, had her for 12.01 literally just this semester HAHAHA
but personally she’s incredibly chill! her slides are very straightforward and so is the way she teaches. sometimes she’d ask the class if you’d prefer to have it asynchronous and she’d provided recorded lectures from the pandemic.
however, in her lecture recordings, she adds extra information in her recorded lectures that will pop up in her quizzes and long tests so make sure to watch them
we had a quiz for every module and a long tests after every 3 modules. there’s the final class output (social media advocacy) and also a group reporting
the quizzes are around 10 or 15 items. always multiple choice OR true and false or matching type. as for the long tests, they range from 60-70 items (it really depends) and consists of different kinds of test types like multiple choice, true or false, solving, etc. just note that sometimes her true and false is modified hahaha
but dw because the nice thing about her is she makes announcements on time. she’s also open to being asked what the test types are
miss also acknowledges the fact that some of the topics are really heavy. sometimes she tries to push it, but she usually ends class 15 mins early. even 30 if she’s being generous
but one problem I have w her is that she doesn’t really coordinate with our laboratory prof when it comes to deadlines so you really have to clarify w her!!more

like the other comments, I had her for 12.01 one year ago. I'd say she teaches very well; as someone who doesn't have a lot of science background, I was able to grasp most of the class discussions. I'd also say she's pretty good at pacing the class so that she doesn't overload you with information in any one session, but still finishes the semester on time (or even early). Maybe the only tricky thing would be the exams - they have some pretty tricky details, but those details are almost always in the slides (which are posted on Canvas) or mentioned in the discussion. Since she publishes the slides before each discussion, I'd advise that you focus more on noting down details she mentions in class which aren't always on the slides. Overall, I'd say her class is B+/A-able with reasonable effort if you're good at memorizing. Good luck!more

edit: i have to mention na i had bio 12.01 so i'm not sure if similar yung content and others, i'd say easy b with normal effort!
she's very straightfoward with the lessons and makes them pretty easy to digest! her tests are also pretty manageable as long as you go over the lesson again (literally similar lang siya to the lessons)
i believe her tests were usually multiple choice, matching type, true or false and application (depending on the lesson, i remember we had to decode a message by figuring out the sequence of dna!)
as for other assessments, alam ko they're mostly partnered with lab, so just be diligent and find good groupmates. good luck!more

Had her for BIO 12.01, and it was a pretty good experience! As someone who struggles a lot with science, I think she explained things very clearly. As one of the other commenters said, she's very experienced, and I think that shows in how she paces the lectures - she often maximizes the time while knowing how far in the lesson to go without overloading students with information. Tests were not easy, but doable with a lot of review and note-taking.more
