had maam pam for zoo and shes a very great prof !! we had 4 quizzes which are mostly memorization. the trickier ones are the LTs (we had 2) which combine memorization and at the same time application. our LTs were all mult choice altho shes not rly consistent with her test types so she may change it for ur class since our upperclassmen had different ones too. our quizzes on the other hand were either true or false, mult choice, identification etc so mix mix sya. we also had a special project where we had to do a creative presentation on a zoonotic disease and u can choose ur grpmates for this !! js make sure its very creative and fun while also ensuring everything is factual lastly, recit was 10% of our grade so try ur best to make ur presence known to maam hehe recite and ask questions !!! but again not sure if her syllabus will change overall A-able sya with max effort (i was able to get an A) and B+-B with effort since ayun nga the assessments r quite objective hehemore

had her for BIO 100.01 and BIO 100.02 for lec - her workload is manageable, just quizzes and LTs - her LTs aren’t hard. she isnt big on memorization but more of understanding. for LTs it’s B+ w little effort - her quizzes are harder than LTs tbh. just study the night before and you’ll get an A - her final project was a grp video and it was fun to do - personality-wise, she lowkey gets mad all the time but i’d say she’s fairly considerate - very A-able with some effort! easy B+ for lab - her lab was really fun and everything is by group - we had no moving exams, just written exams where she flashes a question on the screen. i’d say those are easy if u studied (B+ / A-able!) - just observe her well and dont be afraid to ask questions - easy Amore

Very kind and teaches well for lec! I felt that she taught in a way that was really digestible and it reflected very well in the tests, so it was B+ to A with minimum effort. She’s the GOAT and you will really enjoy microbiology under her. Will add my review for lab here too! All the activities for lab were easy because she demonstrated each activity well and so there was minimal confusion during lab times. She’s very motherly so she cares very much for her students. This means she takes lab safety very seriously so do be very careful during lab like avoiding breakage and cross-contamination because she will get mad, but she just means the best. She doesn’t get mad at all but don’t get her mad. Overall you’ll be in good hands!!more

oh she’s Mother (had her in 3 diff subjects though: BIO 150.01, BIO 150.02, and most recently in BIO 171.02) since this is for a lec class: - quizzes may be by pair - long tests aren’t that heavy naman - gave a bonus paper also yeah she’s very nice and very mom vibes din! but pls dont abuse her kindness bc ang bait nya talaga :(( overall she’s easy A/B+ kahit walang effort, gl op!more

Had her for BIO 100.02 last sem and she's very lovely that's all thank you - She mentioned before that micro is actually her forte so you'll be in good loving arms - Motherly AS IN, hands-on experiments, easy lab reports, please respect the specimens, and please take her class seriously 🙏🏻 - However she announced the materials that would be needed for the experiment very late (like need agad tmrw and we had no idea where to get those) - Grades HIGH imo, just comply and study the slides coz her exams will be difficult if you don't know what you're looking at under the microscopemore

just PLEASE. Don't get a first in the morning class. Had her for lab and I don't know what it was with her, but every session we had, she would constantly have a tirade that would last 5-10 minutes long and was very passive aggressive. We gave her food once and all of a sudden it stopped lol so my group assumes she probably just isn't a morning personmore

Had Mam Pam Gatchalian for Zoology Lab! Super recommend her hehe she’s kind but sometimes she has a bit of a temper, don’t get on her bad side nalang or piss her off. Shes B+ to A-able, though this was around 2023 pa. Pero I heard you need more effort in her class to get an A. In a sense na mas mahirap na exams niya hehe. Overall, would get her again once given the chance!more
