update after finishing the sem:
sir is really nice, and provides all ppts in canvas. he is strict on deadlines and will deduct points if you pass it late (worst case is he wont accept at all). he explains lessons well and is really understanding, even allowing our class to use laptops for a test. be sure to just be attentive and listen during lectures (they can be kind of boring if you arent into math but he tries to add pop culture references to make the class engaging). overall a able/b+ able with proper effort
general tip is to give most pf your effort into the tests since each test is 20% of your grademore

Had him for Math 30.23 during intersession, the way he explains is pretty textbook and by what the slideset says. He’s pretty chill and easy to talk to, especially regarding make up assessments.
Hes not a prof that would make the subject generally easier or harder (not saying he has no impact ha), just someone who can teach you what you’ll need to know for the module.
also tip, part of the grade is recitation and the good thing is he always gives opportunities for people to recite (even if its just answering an easy and obvious answer) so its def worth doing for him to remember youmore

Didn’t take Math 30.23 specifically (i took a diff math class under him) but from my experience he’s super good at teaching. He always provides many practice problems, recaps of prev. classes, and goes through each topic step-by-step. I never wanted to miss class because I genuinely felt like I was learning in his class! His general vibe is chill and no bs.
Before each quiz, he gives a review of problems that students usually miss and there were times where he let us bring home the quiz paper 🫣more

Had Sir Iyulores back in HS a while back and all I can say is: Fun prof to have and guides his lesson well to ensure that his students clearly understand it. He makes sure to engage the class well in the topics he teaches as he's passionate about math. I'm not sure if it remains as relevant as expected (since it was roughly 7 years ago) and if he'll treat college students similarly but I hope it gives a glimpse on how he is :)) gl!!more
