Nice and patient but talks very slow, exams are MC

currently taking him for econ 110 so idk about how high he grades yetas of class structure, we we’re supposed to meet onsite once a week and online sync once a week but we just made it async. two chapters are supposed to be discussed per meeting so 4 chapters a week (for intersession)requirements are 30% each for 3 exams and 10% for participation pero he’s not giving out recits or discussion boards so idrk where we’re supposed to pull that 10% out of his exams so far is just multiple choice and it’s easy enough if you’ve understood his lectures and the book teaching style, he’s nice and friendly naman, not intimidating at all and he’s patient with answering your questions. the only problem i have is that he talks very slow and doesn’t engage with the class much so it can be pretty boring esp when your class lasts for three hoursmore

didn't have him for this course specifically, but he is good! i think he's a fairly new prof, but he's very knowledgeable with what he teaches and is overall a very nice guy. lectures can get a little boring, but he tends to give bonuses in the middle of lectures via recitation. he also uploads recorded lecture videos so you can study at home. exams are a little difficult, but doable with proper prep. he's also very open to questions, clarifications, corrections, modality shifts, anything. he's responsive via email as well. i don't think he curvesmore

I’m actually under him right now for ECON 121 (Development Economics) and beadling for one of his classes! He’s actually pretty new here so I think he’ll change next sem, but for the most part he’s pretty chill (if rather lax) as far as profs go on nearly everything - attendance, teaching style, willingness to move classes online and all. just know that you’ll be expected to do a decent bit of self-study on your end with the materials and readings - the tests might have things you might swear you’ve never seen until then : )more

Great prof was his beadle gives a lot of plus points quiz and tests are around 90 percent 10 percent class participation Studying the concepts and applications is the main idea and its very heavy for learning actual concepts Very kind but the grading is highly objectivemore

had him for econ but i heard it was cooked for socsci my guess is that he can be concept heavy as a prof.. Our econ quizzes were super objective and the scope was pretty huge for each LT. However, he did give pretty fat bonus points if u participate in class B+-able with effort (no bonus points) A-able with effort in acads AND bonus pointsmore
