Had Ms. Muyrong for my Ec111. Mahilig siya sa recitation, so you really have to read the book and kailangan complete yung sagot mo lagi. Pero she says naman kailan yung graded recitation so you can prepare for it. Super daming bonus points sa lahat ng requirements sa class niya (patusin mo lahat kasi A dapat ang pre-final grade para ma-exempt sa finals-swear, worth it). At first mafi-feel mo na parang high school students kayo dahil sa introduction ng lessons pero pagdating sa graphs, you really have to pay attention to what she's discussing. She'll explain why everything you see on the graph are there, and all the possible shifts that can happen and why/how they happen. Not sure if may math na kasama if ec102. Also, from our observation, she really likes it when students ask questions, for clarifications ganun. Super g siyang i-explain ulit lahat ng diniscuss niya cause she wants her students to really understand what she's teaching. Mahilig siyang magbigay word problems and she encourages the class to help each other to answer those. May essays din sa tests pero usually max of 5 sentences lang. Lastly, she's super nice :)more

Update! took her in my 2nd year. I loved maam! She is an immersive teacher -- will give you class activities so you understand the intuitive basics of economics. Do note the format of her indiv essays. That aside, practice graphing and focus on understanding the intuition behind the logic. I think you can perform well in class if you listen well enough. Not sure if its relevant to share but I got a B+ under her. Best of luck!more

your biggest requirements are your groupworks, which are just take home assignments that you divide within your group. so get good groupmates! there are a few assignments and quizzes too. you can get exempted from the finals. i don't remember much about her teaching, but she's kind and caring. she used to have a rule that she wouldn't count cuts if no one was tardy three times in her class, or something like that. 🙂more

Took her two classes na already In terms of grading, A-able with moderate to high effort. Honestly, you can secure an A as long as you take notes what she says kase lumalabas sa exam talagamore
