Had Ma’am Yang for LLAW114.03 AY 2023-2024 SEM 2 and she’s the best! Workload - Relatively light workload! iirc we had 1 paper, 1 presentation, 1 case digest activity for multiple cases which was per group and 2 exams (midterm and finals). We also had 1 quiz iirc - Midterms was onsite via canvas then finals we had it online! - We also had kahoot sessions every start of the class that reviews the topics we discussed last session. The winner gets chocolates and she remembers you if you win! (Tho she gives mini chocolates to everyone anyway) - Recitation is by batch. There’s a wheel of names every session and she chooses like 5-7 people. She only calls people that were drawn on that session and then after that you’re off the deck already until all students in the class get called na. Dw cause it’s chill lang naman basta nagbasa ng readings/handouts! Teaching Style - She really discusses the concepts very well and doesn’t leave anyone in the class hanging since she’s willing to discuss it all over again before you proceed to the next - Also gives her powerpoint deck! Grading - Grades generously imo! She gave me a bonus point once on an essay question in the exam for a well written and exhaustive answer. Just make sure to follow talaga the rubrics of her assessments Overall, def A-able!! Would take ma’am Yang all over again if given the chance ❤️ Will never forget the CHOCOLATESmore

love ma'am yang!!! super nice prof and you'll learn a lot from her class even if you aren't that interested in labor law or law in general (but she'll def make u interested in it 😙) work load was pretty chill! - at the beginning of each class we'd have a kahoot as a refresher for the previous class then she'd give a prize to whoever gets the highest score (usually chocolate lol love her). - we had around 2-3 case studies but it was done by group and we had to present it in class. - at the end of every class she had like a short quiz but it's purely subjective and it's usually an essay question about what you learned for that class. - midterms and finals were both individual exams and they really test how you apply the concepts and lessons in class, all essay questions. i'd say easy B+, definitely A-able especially if you participate in class! she's super understanding and a fun prof overall! would 10/10 recommend getting her! 🥹 rightmore

agree!! definitely one of the best profs ive had my entire stay in admu ☺️ not only do you learn a lot from her class, but she’s just such a nurturing human being that the environment in the classroom is so comfortable and safe 🫶🏻 her requirements weren’t as heavy (at least compared to the other classes i was taking at the time), and she knows exactly what to expect of her students!! 104829491/10 recommend her pls take her if u can 💗more
