His pros: Lectures pretty well, simplifies the content, allows volunteers for recit, lets you read notes in between your recit slides, does not hold recitation if class modality is online, has a little humor, you get to pick your groupmates His cons: If you never have class suspensions, expect recits every meeting. His slides (although simplified) are a minimum of 130 slides per module after the initial one. He gives higher points to more exact answers so given the amount of slides, you have to dedicate more time into putting all that information into your head. He maximizes majority if not the entire class time so if 6-9 pm kayo, you get out 8:50pm. He curves relative to your class so just because a lot of people yk are failing doesnt mean he’ll curve. One absence is felt and reflected in your final grade; every 0 counts recit man or quiz. He only grades high sa groupwork, everything else, if you aren’t on point with what youre explaining you get a maximum of 80 and a minimum of 60. Cant go out of the classroom without letting him know. No gadgets allowed during class time (PRINTED NOTES ALL THROUGHOUT). Mahirap essays niya sa midterms and finals. 2 points per T/F item tapos that composes about 40% of your exam. Overall, take him if youre wanting to go to law school para makatikim kayo ng law prof experience. If youre taking him cause it’s required in your IPS, I suggest you loadrev kahit na lumipat kayo kay Ibarra. It isn’t worth the stress, time, and effort especially na if you dont have any plans on pursuing law post bachelors. Lowkey dude should be an LM only prof hahaha. Imo, burnout talaga kalaban mo in taking his class. Full throttle siya throughout the sem. If no choice, his recits are crammable. His quizzes are better graded jf you mention specific concepts (but they are go big or go home [only 1 right answer; dude doesnt go “okay sige na nga pwede rin”]). For his midterms/finals honestly focus on doing well sa T/F kasi theyre free 40 points if you memorize hella details (goodluck memorizing 300+ slides worth of info tho hahaha) the essays kasi you can get partial points so imagine iirc the compositon of the test was 40 points for T/F 60 for essays; if you perfect the T/F and get partial points sa essay you end up around the 70 point mark. Sa group work ez lang yan get groupmates you like and youre set for the sem. Goodluckmore

Reynoso is okay. Class consists of recit for three straight hours, that means you gotta be on your toes all the time unless you’re already called, but that’s usually the case for law classes anyway. Expect to be standing for a long time during recits, I think the average recit per person in our class was like 7-10mins (??) sometimes even 20mins if malas ka :( You’ll be standing there until you get the right answer (unless you tell him you really don’t know the answer), but don’t worry cus sir gives clues, and as long as you’ve studied the book you should be fine. He’s really patient even if your recit really sucks and sobrang halata na di nagbasa HAHAHA but ofc i don’t recommend not studying for recits cus its still kinda traumatic. But that being said, he still gives really high grades for recit. You get 60 if you don’t show up, but scores usually range from 80-100 even if your recit was kinda bad. Also, don’t expect in-depth discussions. Sir’s ppt only reiterated the book for the most part, and he just reads it out loud… It’s kinda boring hahaha. He also gives 10min breaks after each hour and goes around to ask if we have any questions. He’s really nice and he’ll really try his best to answer any question. For our finals, because everyone was complaining about the test type, he gave out a couple of bonus questions. Overall, sir’s pretty patient and considerate! If you have a good beadle, you can negotiate a lot with him HAHAHA. Not sure if he’s gonna be this lenient again tho cus he told us that since we were his first class he was gonna be a lot nicer to us hehe :)more

You don't have to be afraid of him!! He's chill and okay but very by the book tbh too much by the book. He grades fairly for everything except for recit. He grades high for recit. You can survive him easy but idk if you can stay awake for long. In the 3 hours i see him every saturday he only stands up if 1) he needs to pee or 2) the class ends. He reads his ppts like u dont have to listen just take notes of his ppts. HIS LTS ARE HASSLE THO not a typical law LT. Theres identification and stuff ☹️ not just the normal essay formatmore

Reynoso is an okay prof. Very friendly and easy to talk to. However, I was part of his first class last sem and he gave us a finals that had enumeration, identification and some essay questions. His quiz is easy to nail but im not so sure with his finals. He’s not strict in his recit as well like if you’re absent you automatically get F but you can make up for it the next class by volunteering to recit.more

I didnt like him at first cuz he was so boring HAHA all he did was do recit for like the full 3 hours (YES THE FULL 3 HOURS HE DOENST DISMISS EARLY. only sometimes). He wasnt scary tho and would sometimes try to help u. Grades kinda high for recit even if u didnt know shit. he's rlly nice tho and his final project was super do-able (write like 10 fucking contracts by hand on yellowpad LOL with a partner naman). His final was rly objective. hes ok not the best, but probs not as bad as ibarra LOOLmore

Hello! now that i've had him for LAW123, i can give some insight. it may not be accurate but I hope this helps nonetheless! He's a very friendly and approachable prof!! He assigns a lot of sections/articles for every session and has recit for them every session. Recit is random and you have to answer his questions for an indefinite number of minutes so you have to make sure you're familiar with the sections. He gives I think 1-2 quizzes and his final is pretty straightforward. also tbh he's like a really sweet uncle huhumore

Dragging and very boring. Takes too much time for recit that everyone loses their train of thought especially when the one reciting doesn’t know the answer. No taking pics of his powerpoint and he doesn’t give it as well. Didn’t learn much because his class made me sleepy all the time even if I sat in the very first row. Also if you cut class and you were called for recit he gives you a 65 or 75 for that day. #sadmore

Reynoso grades low but i think hes a pretty chill guy, ok nmn siya not a terror at all The only prob is w his grading huhu Had him for ObliCon and the advice that I’d give is maghanda ka na ng printed copies of his slides (just printout the text) and also quality of quantity w his recits! Hed much rather have u recite for the slides in ur own words than have u read it from ur notes (this is where the printed slides come in handy)more
