Loved her !! Super nice and a-able! For papers, I always consulted with her when I could beforehand and she was always super helpful and def guided me as I wrote it. For indiv outputs, usually consultations arent required but I'd still recommend it! Got good scores for both individual papers, and she definitely helped me make the scope more specific and have a wider view on the topic. For group outputs, consultations are typically required but theyre very helpful, just know what u wanna ask or clarify w her beforehand! The readings were a lot but tbh I rarely read them when it was just for lectures and got by just find💀 They're helpful and interesting tho ! Lectures were p chill, they sometimes dragged but I'd use the time to work on other stuff if I needed to LMAO, but I liked them naman! V interesting, it's also nice to participate as you get to engage in dialogue and really apply your lessons I also recommend working on things as early as you can as the class can feel a bit heavy the closer deadlines get. She was nice with moving deadlines tho and typically gave bonuses to those who submitted on the original date but no deduction for those who didnt, as long as your beadle negotiates first. Finals felt really heavy tbh, but I found it really fun. It was a roundtable discussion where we prepared a ~2000 word essay, video project, and short presentation. Then we had a roundtable discussion where we talked to other groups about our assigned general topic in relation to the specific topic we chose + guided by the questions asked by the panel. Its not scary tho and I genuinely super enjoyed it!! Ngl one of the highlights of that year hehe, participate in the discussion as much as possible For the 2 grp presentations we had, try to be creative! Chill class, manageable deadlines, great prof 10/10 fave class in my freshman year, super recommend her 💗more

She is the GOAT. Never wanted to miss a single one of her classes, which is nice kasi in COMM 20 you're going over around 28 different communication theories. If I remember correctly, other than the readings, we never had any homeworks or quizzes. Her readings are long pero so worth it na basahin. And even if you didn't read them, she'll be summarizing them naman in her PowerPoint slides (she posts them too, which is so convenient). Kind and understanding when it comes to questions and deadlines as long as there is communication (hehe), and even in requirements like critical essays and discussion leaderships, we're always reaching out to her to ask and clarify things, and she's always happy to lend a hand. She'd even go so far as to share you references and journal articles that she'd think might help you. Always a lifesaver whenever I get stuck on an essay topic and I couldn't find a single article about it, haha! Make sure to read all of her comments in whatever assignment/major requirement you have kasi guarantee na they will help you improve a lot, essay o discussion leadership pa man yan.more

had her for COMM 20 and COMM 21 and LOVED HER!!!She's really nice and chill!! She uploads her powerpoints and the readings/material in advanced so take advantage >< Also her powerpoints usually summarizes the readings though so if you don't read them you'll be fine. Her reqs can be tedious but very rewarding once you're done with them It's usually 2 critical papers (1 for midterms and another for finals) and then 2 grp presentations both for COMM 20 and COMM 21. She usually brings the major reqs up in advanced; she was the first one to give us a midterm but longg deadlines. Her feedback from previous submissions also made me improve my writing skills!! When I submitted my first critical paper she left clear and valuable feedback so definitely used it everytime I submitted something.All in all, enjoyed her class and would definitely enlist in it again if she was teaching another subjectmore

Hi! I had Ma’am Vaswani for COM 11 a few sems ago , and she is extremely kind and approachable! She does tend to ramble on in lectures, but only because she’s extremely knowledgeable about the topics! 😊 Her workload is also a bit tideous (a paper about your favorite COM theory and application due every other week or every two weeks or so, and every week you’ll have to write an informative post about the theory you learned for that week in your class’s FB group + leave a comment on someone else’s post), but honestly at the end of all of it, I learned so much from her and she’s one of the profs I will never forget because she’s just that good HAHA 😊 Just be open and willing to listen, and prepare for her class, and you’ll be fine!more

Had her for Com 11, a good teacher who really knows her stuff! Had a lot of requirements (weekly graded reflection posts, quizzes for new lessons, etc) so her class wasn't as chill, but overall she's really approachable and nice. Mind you, she grades fairly though. She will email you a breakdown of your grades at the end of the sem and she doesn't curve (from what I know). You'll get the letter grade based on her grading system in the syllabus. Got an A from her! I feel she's an easy B-B+, but if you put in the work, A is very attainable.more

Hi just wanted to write about my experience with ma'am Vaswani as a prof for online class cause I'm guessing it's different from the experience of her students who had her for physical class. Honestly it was great and I don't think she could have conducted the online classes any better. She used canvas and of course we would have a lot of material to read and watch (though it's a very fair amount for a class) but at the same time despite it being online there was a lot of interaction (with the comments and such). Whenever she would give feedback it would be in a good amount of time and very comprehensive. All in all despite the class being online I enjoyed it a lot, especially compared to my other online class experiences. With her class I no doubt felt like she no doubt did her best to make the most out of online learning while with my other online class profs I can't exactly say the same.more

Really good prof. She's very organized when she teaches and she also provides all her ppts. There are many reqs tho such as app logs, individual presentation and research paper pero kaya naman cuz she grades high. For extra points, just do her thought starters. It's possible to get a B+ but if you want A put in more effort hehe.more
