Terror prof, no materials, pass anyway, self-study everything

Had him for first sem (2025-2026) omfg i think better to find a diff prof, by far he was like my most terror prof in a sense that i fr didnt learn anything substantial from his class. Had no materials to study for in preparation for the departmental exam, no materials for actual onsite class like ppts to teach or activities to do to actually learn the concept. But tbf he was chill and nice just a bad teacher, for the departmental exam he just gave us 75% of our grade an A, so the remaining 15% is on the actual departmental exam meaning even if you fail the departmental you still pass but your grade is up to your discretion. Low effort class in a sense you literally wont be doing anything at all in class, barely any homeworks. If you’re ok with self-studying quite literally everything i think proceed with him. What helped for me was to ask for notes from my friends from other classes and I just used those to study for the departmental exam (still failed tho) at the end i ended up with a B so yeah. GL to you guys!! Oh also he was very unresponsive even to our beadle and until now our grades arent posted on aisis 😂 i think that should sum up everything abt him as a teachermore
