Engaging discussions, quizzes doable if you read

I LOVED MAAM BEA 💗 100000/10 WOULD RECOMMEND TAKING HER CLASS Imo, her discussions were always engaging and full of insight. Sometimes, she’d even have games for the class during discussions! She doesn’t cold call, but do try to participate or recite in class since iirc 15% of your grade comes from class participation (although i think you can also do that by answering the DBs in canvas) There will be a quiz after every one or two modules, 25 points with multiple choice and essay type questions. She also puts in bonus questions at the end HAHAHA quizzes are not hard naman as long as you read the materials and listen in class. Also, she gives out candies in class when you take it heheheh I guess my advice is to choose good group mates since you’ll be working with them for the rest of the semester. Idk if she changed her requirements but when I took her, we had three group presentations by the end of the sem (UTS Narrative, Character Profile, and the Binhi Integration). Overall, Maam Bea was so kind and understanding, def A-able (ofc with reasonable effort!) Good luck! 🤟🏻more

Need notes, questions don't match the PPT definitions

afaik, questions were rephrased in a way na it does not explicitly match with the definitions on ms bea’s ppts. You really need to take down notes and listen while shes discussing, that way youll be able to recognize the terms and questions that she’ll askmore

She usually does 10 pts multiple choice Qs and they usually include concepts both from her slides and the book. Safer if you review the whole chapter from the book. she puts essay questions sometimes in her assessments and they're usually drawn form the assigned reading on that particular chapter. All in all, very doable if you put effort in reviewing everything assigned for the chaptermore

super vouch! miss agbayani is very nice and approachable. She grades very fairly so you get what you give. In terms of tasks, she gives three LT's throughout the sem, a final group requirement, and 7-8 short quizzes for the sem after every lesson. It might seem a lot but they're very manageable. She also gives out extra activities in case you want bonus points for your quizzes and tests as well Edit: The tasks listed are during regular semesters; I don't know what tasks she'll give during the intersessionmore

Our block loved Ms. Bea’s classes! She’s so kind and very understandable prof, the discussions are very engaging and interactive. The quizzes are also not that hard if you review and pay attention during class. Also there’s 2 group reportings (advocacy proj and character profile) make sure to present well and don’t just read from your phone. Will definitely recommend taking her 💗🌸more
