Based on my experience with sir jesus meghrajani, hes the sweetest and kindest prof ever 🥹 he really cares alot for his students and he really does his best to try and help his students get good grades. He even hold consultation sessions to help his students study for the exams. He grades very fair. He gives essays/tasks which can help with your grade. He helped me get over my fear of math and I honestly love him sm. He’s a great prof but an even better person. I’d take him again if i could. 10/10 recommend him 💗 one of the best profs i have ever had in Ateneomore

MLG is singlehandedly the best math educator I've had so far. Kahit hindi ka magaling sa math, you will still be able to follow through with the lessons because he explains them so well. Not only that, very approachable siya and he's not afraid to crack a few jokes here and there to keep everyone engaged. VERY open to criticism din, he will sometimes ask for feedback from the students on what can be done to improve the class' overall performance. In terms of quizzes and tests, best tip I can give is practice. like A LOT. Yung tests niya require you to be able to apply the concepts and methods taught in the modules. The test questions need you to be clever with how you use certain equations and rules; this is why practice is the key sa tests niya. Overall amazing prof; if given the chance, I would take him again. The G in MLG may stand for Garcia, but for me, it stands for GOOOAT 💕💕more

i had him for intersession, and honestly i really don’t understand why he had so many bad reviews 😭 he’s still quite new ig? (not yet one year of teaching in ateneo) but he really reads the reviews he gets from the students, and he learns from them. He’s a very understanding prof, and he always made sure that everyone understands his lessons. The complaints about him saying “he expects too much from us” isn’t true, and the “as future lawyers/doctors…” comment was just him trying to relate the subject to everyone’s course because, after all, its math in the modern world. It’s applying math to real world scenarios. Anyways, I had a pretty good experience with him and got good grades. He always made sure that his tests will only include the lessons he taught, so no need to worry about random math questions appearing. Sir Megharajani also sends practice tests and copies of activities (with answers) from his reference books. He’s quite intimidating though ngl, but I can also tell his face lights up when students actually interact and ask him questions. Just make sure you take his class seriously, and don’t hesitate to ask help from him because he’d really appreciate that.more

meghrajani just may be the worst math 10 prof you can get 😭 • he expects WAY TOO MUCH from his students always bringing up “you’re in ateneo” or “as future doctors/lawyers”. he’s a new prof this sem and ig wtv stereotype ateneans are known for (smart, school-holic) he thinks and treats u as such. • you would think math 10 is an easygoing easy-A class but w this prof its not. there are 4 long tests ranging from 100-180 points. yes we have a 180-point exam which is 3 hours long. on top of that we have an excel project where you need to do all the things you learned for data management, write a 3-page essay (so basically 3 final requirements) • he’s super picky pa with your answers. for essays, you have to be a really good writer for you to get a perfect score. people are literally getting B/C+ for MATH 10? • he uses messenger as his main form of communication. will message (and spam) throughout the day even in the early mornings • he will private message students — sometimes very random and (for the lack of term) “questionable” things • he’ll sometimes even mention you in the class gc something that should’ve been told to you in confidence which may embarrass students • sure, he’s nice as a person but he expects WAY TOO MUCH as a professor • i’m not joking or exaggerating when i say this was the hardest/most taxing course i had to take this sem not even my majors or calculus. calculus was easier than this • if you wanna save yourself and your mental health pls run 😅🥲more

Most people already wrote what to expect for Meghrajani, so.. How to Survive Meghrajani 101: * DO NOT CRAM REVIEW. * As much as possible show na interested ka sa class niya kasi napansin ko na siniside-eye niyo yung mga long na nagttype sa cellphone na mukhang di naman nagn-notes HAHAHA! * Recite if you can. * Always keep note of what he says na important kasi 2-3 minus points ka agad most likely kapag hindi mo nasunod yon (i.e, proper use of symbols) — kasi dapat daw “accurate and precise” * Try to be on time lagi for his class cuz nattick off siya kapag late ka. (Understandable naman) * Try to ask questions sa kaniya as much as possible, open naman siya for consultation * Wag ka makikipag eye contact sa first day. Yon lang naman. Makakapasa ka naman sa subject niya as long as nakikita niyang you are trying, pero if aim mo maka-A hanap ka nalang ibang prof HAHAHHA. - Former Student na Nakasurvivemore

Got him for Math 10 last sem. Expect all of these: - He randomly messages the GC during ungodly hours. I still remember when he messaged at 2am just for a few reminders and updates about the class. It was not that important. Also goes for emails. - He’s fast paced when he’s teaching. He makes it understandable but again, FAST PACED. You might find yourself getting lost because his handwriting is hard to read and the lesson moves at a fast pace. - Expect using the board a lot than having ppts (I liked this one tbh most especially when it comes to math) - He calls out students IN CLASS after asking privately kung ano/saan nahihirapan ang student sa kanya at sa course niya - Also strict with our first quizzes and lts ; he’s not lenient when it comes to a few mistakes in the problem. Wala ka nang points if mali sagot and solution mo. No points for effort 😅 i don’t know if he’s lenient na sa finals namin even though we asked for consideration since hindi naman na kami nagmeet. - Danas sa finals. We had 3 final requirements (essay, paper, final exam worth 180 points which was more than our calc) during the finals. What’s good about the essay requirement was that it was points directly to our grade. The course is a-able tbh. What you can do to survive him: - RECITE. If he calls you to answer a certain question, do it. Okay lang kung mali— you will have points for participation. - Do the exercises he’s asking you to do during class (malaki ang points ‘nun. You are also given enough time to finish it kasi if wala ng time, he’ll ask the class to pass it the next session). - Attentively listen to him. Ask questions if you do not understand a thing. - WAG MONG PIKUNIN (2) - Take advantage of his consultations. Message him about having extra exercises to practice. Wag kang mahihiya na magmessage sa kanya.more

moderate (i dont wanna call him good LOL) - random motivational message, random texts of reviewers he was rlly fastpaced with us so im expecting hes also like that (and maybe even 2x during intersesh) dos - recite and get to his good side donts - WAG MONG PIKUNIN. when u do he'll share it with other classes and students and claim that hes just explaining lmao yes he calls out randomly but if u dont wanna recite just say u dont wanna and he'll respect that naman he has long ass long tests. our calc finals was 2 hours only but his LONG TEST took us 3-4 hours lol honestly if u wanna save ur qpi and mental health just get another prof 💀more

he’s a-able with effort. take advantage of the pointers to review he provides sa GC kasi yun exactly talaga ang lalabas sa LTs; it’s really specific to the point na you’ll know what problem and topic will appear and how the question will be structured/phrased. you can basically save time reviewing all the topics kasi alam mo na agad kung ano lang yung lalabas sa test. he’s nice naman and takes care of his students — he really wants everyone to pass and learn. i only don’t like his handwriting and sermons in classmore
