Hi! I took her LLAW 113 class onsite last semester. Personally, I think she's an okay prof. She's very organized and she follows a strict set of rules and schedules.
As for teaching, I learned a lot from her class but I think that her modules were sometimes intimidating because they vary in weight and difficulty. Some are heavier and more complex than others. But mostly talaga oblicon is info overload so I suggest you do the readings ahead of time (in your free time) if you can.
Her PPTs are monotonous, as well as her voice onsite. But she tries to make the class engaging by holding a few "fun" recits that involve role-playing the cases/scenes. They're not graded though 🥹 which sometimes also adds to her requirement load (wc in my opinion is p manageable, although heavier than usual).
As for grading, I'd say she follows her rubrics. She's very particular with grading, esp in the test/s! She prefers you follow her format when answering the essays (for long tests and practice tests). The simpler you explain the concept and its application, the better but don't make it less than 5 sentences. Her tests are composed of 42 questions, 2 ten pt essay questions, and 40 multiple questions (2 points each) so try to double check your answers.
I'm not sure how accurate this is but from what I observed, for other works, she's more lenient in giving effort points but in the exam she's really looking for a very specific answer so try to be as detailed as you can in the essays. I think the class average was C+ to B+ so not super high. But I think she changes her teaching style every year so keep an open mind with her 🥹
The tests are very objective naman and super clear so there won't be much confusion w the answers. Just listen in class (esp the cases/scenes) and you'll know how to answer!
All in all, if she were to be my prof again, I don't think I'd load rev her kasi she's really organized and personally that's a plus for me. You'll know where you're headed in her class!
took her last intercession and she was just okay!
I learned a lot but she was quite strict with attendance and tardiness (10 mins after class start).
She was very nice n mom vibes BUT kinda stingy w grades... My scores were average to above average for all my assessments and she gave me a C😭
OVERALL, U WILL SURVIVE!! oblicon is very info overload but her ppts r very helpful and shes very open to questions!!!more

had ma'am paner-montiel for 2 llaw classes alr!
she is very organized with materials in the canvas & gives out ppts. doesn't hold recits + schedules quizzes/other deadlines waaay ahead of time. if structured courses work for you (rather than sponty on the spot ones), then i think u'll do ok!
she is kinda monotonous though especially for 3 hour classes.. can be quite boring bc what she says is whats in the canvas & ppt alr
my tip is to ALWAYS TAKE NOTES of her examples! can sometimes seem common sense but it usually appears sa exams!!
def a-ble! j make sure to do well sa exams!more

hi! i was her previous beadle last yr and i’d say that she’s a-able with effort. what i liked most about her class was that it was very organized, she gives her ppt that has almost everything you need to know for the assessments. she also posts summaries of the lessons in canvas that helped a lot in reviewing for the assessments. in terms of class discussions, she also makes sure to break down the concepts and would always relate it to real-world scenarios. however, since it is a law subject, expect that the class would still be a bit heavy on info. but as long as you listen to her discussions and read the book, you can definitely get that a!
as for the requirements, we only had minimal work to do such as a group paper of your hypothetical business. aside from that, all i remember is having a quiz per module and 2 exams for midterms & finals. make sure to study well for these because some questions were really tricky (especially during finals).
don’t hesitate to ask maam sab if you have any clarifications as well because she’s very kind and approachable naman. she’s just strict with attendance cos she does it on the dot and she’ll mark you late even if you just left to go to the cr. she has a second roll call also 15 mins after class has started, so by then if you’re still not around, you’ll be marked absent. in the middle of the sem, she also announces those with more than 3 cuts.
good luck and feel free to message if u have more questions!!more
