if u want an easy a, go for sir cholo (angelo aquino), super chill class, though you really wont learn much. most his quizzes and exams are online (pero from my experience super lacking yung lectures to answer, so you need to relay on the files on canvas lol). very groupwork and presentation heavy though, so watch out for that!

Sir Angelo was an easy A if that's what you're looking for. Chill class, not difficult requirements. He also gave us pizza on our last day lol.

Easiest A Sir Angelo! You won’t really learn much honestly, but the requirements are very minimal and he also barely goes to class. Mostly group works and then two exams (online and open notes).more

Love Ma’am Favis down! Had her last sem and her discussions are very organized and engaging naman. No phones during class but its not the end of the world. Last sem we had 4 long tests, 2 pair works (which were essentially give aways), 5 easy quizzes, and one summative activity. Super chill lang, just study well for the LTs. Easy B+, A if you do well on LTs! (pretty sure she curved my grade to an A too)more

sanchez will nitpick your code until mapiga niya yan. he literally will do anything to break your code. alaan is just.... bad. he doesn't even teach that well and yet his requirements are the heaviest af out of all the other classes i'm takingmore

Favis - easy B+, A-able with lots of effort, since her LTs can be challenging - no phones, but her class is engaging enough that you won't even notice the time - you will learn A LOT because she's a nerd and will literally have a lot of fun facts stored for the class - she's kind as long as you follow her rulesmore

love love love ms. favis!! tho she’s kinda old school in a sense na bawal talaga gadgets unless needed sa pair activity. won’t get into the assessments na rin since there are a lot of comments/reviews out there ab them! if you do end up taking her, i suggest you REALLY take note of EVERYTHINGGG she says kasi lalabas yun sa mga LT niya. class was never boring with her kahit na siesta time yung period namin! she yaps a lot and i think that’s how she tries to connect with the class! i would def recommend taking her class kasi ang DAMI mong matututuhan sa kanya!more

Had Ms. Favis last sem! She’s a really nice prof, she’s passionate about what shes teaching and she also tends to yap sometimes 😅. No gadgets tho, even for note taking (she encouraged us to use pen and paper). If you were to take her I would recommend you write down notes cause she doesn’t share the powerpoints or let you take photos of it. We had 4 LTs that usually consists of multiple choice (35 pts), modified true or false (10 items, 2 pts ea), and an essay portion (15 points i think?). She also gives 5 bonus questions which you could easily answer if you listened to her discussion. The quizzes are usually just 10 points (a mix of multiple choice, true or false, identification, and essay questions). I also recommend you to watch / read the videos / readings she asks you to do since she usually asks about it in the essay portion (in the LT) I would say easy B! since her LTs are pretty hard 😅more

Hey there! I'm not sure how valuable my ratings will be since I didn't take them for PHYS 160, instead I had all three of them for PHYS 10.01 and 10.02. Prof Angelo and Noel were my PHYS 10.02 (Lab) profs and honestly they were quite chill. Sir Noel is just a bit more strict(?) with guidelines in our worksheets. He deducts quite a big chunk if you don't follow directions but that's understandable naman. While Sir Angelo is overall just v laid back and chill. They're both also quite responsive when it comes to queries etc. For Sir PJ naman, honestly so chill! For our lec class, we just had 1 point quizzes at the end of each lecture as a way to check your attendance (They're open notes too), plus 3 "long exams" that were only 30 points and one final exam. Aside from that, we didnt have any other requirements. He also likes to yap a lot and sometimes he can get sidetracked but his yapping isn't the kind that makes you feel bored or sleepy at all! Again, I had them for PHYS 10.01 and PHYS 10.02, not PHYS 160. So maybe it can be a little different for you, but rest assured when it boils down to personalities, all three of them are chill and laid back.more

Though the environment may differ seeing as I only had sir Aquino for STS and not a major like PHYS, he was a pretty nice professor who grades highly. Please don't take advantage of his kindness though 😭 Expect lectures to be a bit more on the boring side though.more
