hi! took him last sem for soph year what you’ll do in class / out of class: - you’ll mostly meet onsite, and lectures are chill. I get that some students may find the class a bit uneventful, but personally, I enjoyed our discussions since I find the topics interesting - we had a quiz whenever we discussed a new topic (almost once a week). they were around 10 points (multiple choice and short answers). tbh, it would be hard to get wrong answers here lol, as they’re easy. so long as you listen in class or study the canvas materials, which are digestible already, you’ll have no problem in getting a perfect score - there were quick class activities, tho it only occurred thrice if I rmbr correctly (group activity/ies & discussion boards via canvas) - we also had papers to submit, which were fun to write (mostly individual and 1 duo / trio). I would say they’re very doable in one sitting, as they don’t ask for much (1-3 pages) - finals was orals, but don’t sweat it. again, know your material and you’ll be fine. there were 4 thesis statements that were given ahead of time for preparation. as per ush, you’ll only discuss 1 under 8 mins, then the remaining time will be for Q&A (15 mins total, tho Q&A was just 1 ques—at least from my exp) grading system: - sir grades high. just follow the instructions and rubrics well - 📌 very A-able, so yea, take sir JM! attendance: - he checks attendance regularly. tho if you’re late, they’ll remove the half cut and mark you as present stillmore
